It emphasized the interest that our University gives to the Latin American region, showing at the same time the openness that our academic community shows for the strengthening of the cooperation with the academic environment of this region. During the working meeting, the two delegations agreed to develop a partnership between our University’s Sustainable Development Centre and the HEC Sustainable Transition Centre, including the co-optation of a professor from HEC in the ASE Centre’s Scientific Council. They are strategically located and strongly linked to their surrounding regions. MIKTA members are also like-minded on many of the global challenges of our time and are active contributors in international fora. MIKTA aims to contribute constructive solutions to regional and global challenges as well as enhancing effectiveness of global governance. Therefore, MIKTA aims at strengthening its cooperation in order to raise its voice on global issues and gain influence within the international organisations.
