We are currently looking for 1 intern to join our team at the Global Lounge in Kristiansand for the spring semester 2025 (January – June).
Requirements
To apply you have to be a student enrolled at a bachelor’s or master’s level or a recent graduate.
You must be an EU / EEA national, eligible for the Erasmus+ Traineeship grant (from an institution other than UiA). Please check with your home office if you will be eligible for a grant before you apply.
We require fluent English spoken and written (C1 level).
Tasks and responsibilities
– First point of contact for the International Office, based at the Global Lounge
– Supporting our mobility team (incoming and outgoing exchange students and degree-seeking students) via administrative tasks (emails, in-person enquiries, etc.)
– Promotion and social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Newsletters) to engage with our partner institutions, prospective students, alumni, and current international students
– Ensuring good information flow to current students
– Coordinate Social Erasmus Initiative
– Taking visitors (partner institutions, prospective students, country representatives) on campus tours
– Work alongside the Erasmus Student Network of Agder
– Coordinate social events at the Global Lounge for students, staff and guests.
Desired qualifications
– Computer skills (Microsoft Office package, mailing services, Canva, video editing software)
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Social Media experience
– Marketing and administrative experience
– Flexible and able to work independently, as well as being able to work alongside other intern(s) and staff

Payment

The Cyprus Wildlife Research Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of Cyprus’s native species and habitats.
We offer a variety of hands-on internship opportunities that allow students to develop practical skills in wildlife care, rehabilitation, ecological monitoring, and content creation. We would like to extend these opportunities to students from your university. Attached, you’ll find posters outlining available placements for 2025, which are well-suited for students and recent graduates from programs in biology, ecology, animal care, nature management, veterinary medicine and similar fields. As of October 2024, we have proudly hosted 196 volunteers from 37 different countries, and we are eager to welcome more students who are passionate about working with wildlife and gaining international experience. International Summer UniversityWU (ISUWU) 2024
The course offer for our International Summer UniversityWU 2024 can now be accessed on our website.
The academic program consists of two courses which are taught consecutively over the duration of three weeks. Completion is worth 8 ECTS credits. There are different courses available for undergraduate and graduate students:
In the July session (July 1 – July 19, 2024), students can choose from different sets of courses per level.
In the August session (July 22 – August 9, 2024), only one set of courses is available per level.
To nominate students, please use the online nomination form: ISUWU 2024 nominations. Please enter all students in one form.
Please note: This nomination form is to be used exclusively for the International Summer UniversityWU, not for semester exchange or any other short / summer programs.
The ISUWU nomination deadline for partner universities is March 15, 2024.
The online application / registration for students is open between February 15 – March 31, 2024.
If you have not done so yet, please reach out to us in order to discuss your nomination quota (ideally by the end of January).
We will publish more information about the ISUWU 2024 on a regular basis on our website.

Vienna Innovation Program 2024

Summer School in Finance
I would also like to point out another program organized by WU this summer: the Summer School in Finance. It is a program for graduate students which will run in August 2024. Please note that this program is run independently from the ISUWU and the Vienna Innovation Program.
